Description: An homage to Gutenberg's having perfected the invention of metal movable type and the printing press around 1450. The letterforms on page 1 are randomly scattered about the page. The reader flips or turns the 15 text pages of this artist's book as the concept and message is slowly revealed.  
Letterforms move into place to form a single line of text "This book was printed from metal movable type."

Description: The poetic musings of winter's harshness and wonder is printed on papers that remind one of snow. The pages each a different length are layered with a torn foredged to connote the sense of time passing and ones observations of winter changing as the season progresses and ultimately gives way to spring. Description: A book of simple blessings offered and received as part of everyday life. Though most are not grandiose or even particularly special they fill my beggar’s bowl with all that is needed. Using a circular flag book concertina structure the book unfolds, wraps around and comes together in the shape of a bowl. The idea and structure for this book were inspired by buddhist monks (bhikkhus) who live their lives dependent on the alms (blessings) placed in their bowl.

Description: an autobiographic story about the life changing experience that is breast cancer. It is an experience that is shared by 1 in eight women in the US. One side shares thoughts, feelings and experiences from my journey through breast cancer. The reverse side of the quilted pages represent the journeys of 64 other women. Printing only first names, age of diagnosis and years living cancer free. It is my desire that this book communicate and connect with the viewer in a profound, unforgettable way through the softness of cloth and the warmth of a quilt.
